We have an active programme of Community Engagement and Charity Support and we encourage our pupils, teachers and supporters to take part in various activities and events throughout the year.

Examples of our Community and Charity Programme
- Hosting 2018, 2019 and 2021 Tapathon and raising funds for BBC Children in Need
- Operating a highly successful 'Reverse Christmas Advent' calendar which resulted in over 14 large boxes of donations for local foodbanks in Biggar, Jedburgh, Hawick, Moffat and Peebles.
- We have performed at 2017 and 2018 Peebles Beltane concerts. We also provided free technical and lighting support
- Performing at local Charity events such as the 'Odd Shaped Ball' 2018 & 2019
- Our pupils perform and entertain at local Retirement & Nursing homes
- Giving proceeds from Teas and Coffees at FHSD Studios to Borders Children’s Charity
- We are supporting Peebles High School Dance Club via free choreography, teaching and club support; free use of costumes and free technical sound and lighting support for their shows
- We donate 100% of sale proceeds of pre-used uniforms and un-claimed lost property to Borders Children’s Charity
